Columbia, Maryland. Andrew A. Altman Sr., the owner of Best Buy Waterproofing, a basement waterproofing and mold remediation company located in Columbia Maryland, has been named to the board of directors to the Baltimore Better Business Bureau.
“It is an honor to be selected to serve on the board of the BBB,” Mr. Altman said, “This organization was founded in 1912 and has earned the trust of the American consumer. It is the primary place to find businesses of integrity with high performance standards.”
The Board’s primary responsibility is governance and leadership. It sets policy, approves new applicants for Accreditation, and advances BBB’s mission. The full Board meets an average of four times per year, in addition to conducting an annual retreat. Members are expected to recruit a minimum of two new BBB members each year, financially support BBB events, and serve on at least one committee during a portion of their three-year term.
